Bertram Nursery Group are looking to recruit an exceptional, highly motivated and talented Recruitment and engagement Specialist to work in an organisation with a group of people who are passionate about providing the highest standards of childcare. The role will involve working 20 flexible hours a week. This is an exciting new position and we are keen to talk to people who are self-motivated and have the desire to contribute to the future success of the business. You would have the autonomy to work in a way that provides the best results and would have the opportunity to make the role your own.

We are a well-known day nursery childcare provider and have been established since 2006. Bertram Nursery Group currently operate 36 nurseries in Scotland and England. We have exciting plans to grow the chain and are now looking to bring on board people who can support those plans with the ability to source good calibre candidates for the various roles in our nurseries. The successful candidate will be based in and around the Manchester area.

Bertram Nursery Group have the Gold Award for Investors In Young people which demonstrates how much emphasis we place on looking after and developing our nursery teams. We have also been voted the Nursery Group of the Year at the Nursery Management Today awards 2018 and also feature in the top 20 nursery groups in the Day Nurseries list.

Ideally, we would like to talk to people with experience of the childcare sector but would consider candidates who have the ability to transition effectively and speedily.

Salary 18k-20k pro-rata based on 20 hours a week depending on experience.

Requirements for the role:

  • Recruitment experience ideally in the childcare or related sectors
  • Maintaining a data base
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to engage positively with potential candidates
  • Work collaboratively with nursery management teams
  • Ability to talk to groups of students in schools or colleges
  • Experience of running recruitment campaigns
  • IT literate
  • Target driven
  • Can work autonomously
  • Organised
  • Full driving license
